In Support of Those Living With MS
Thank you for being a part of the Wild West MS Walkabout (WWMSW) during the past four years. As a result of your involvement we have raised over $345,000! This has allowed us to provide grants to people living with MS and also provide support to other programs in Colorado who are doing research and supporting people living with MS.
We want to express that the steering committee has enjoyed our involvement over the past 4 years. However, an all-volunteer event like this requires hundreds of man hours per year throughout the entire year. With that in mind, the difficult decision was made that 2010 will be the final year of the WWMSW.
We are proud of the accomplishments of the last four years and recognize and appreciate your love, commitment and support. Our mission to help those living with MS will live on as we continue to award grants for the next 3-5 years. We hope you will join us and celebrate the 5th and final year of the WWMSW August 20-22, 2010 in Ft. Collins.
We have begun planning next year’s walk with the vision of it truly being a unique celebration of everyone’s efforts to help those living with MS. We plan on some fun surprises and have even heard a rumor that Elvis might be dropping in!
Thank you again for your participation over the years. Together we have had a positive impact on the lives of many (ourselves included). We look forward to a great walk in 2010! Together with you, we can make the 2010 WWMSW the BEST walk yet!
