Christy Dittmar is from Northeast Colorado and attended Colorado State University, receiving BS and MS in Occupational Therapy. OT settings have included outpatient, home health care, inpatient, pediatric services, and case management. Christy was also the director of the southern Larimer County Chapter of the MS Society of Colorado from 1979-1986. In the past, she participated on the Advisory Board for the Northern office of the NMSS and on the Chapter Clinical Advisory Committee. Christy has been involved in the development of Center for Neurorehabilitation Services in Fort Collins, CO and is the clinic director. She has presented on the topics of energy conservation and fatigue management, adaptive driving rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, and coping with progressive MS.  Publications include contributions in Mild Traumatic Brain Injury- a Clinician’s Guide, 1999 The Neuropsychology Handbook-Treatment Issues and Special Populations, 1997 Journal of Applied Neuropsychology, Vol. 4, No.1, 1997, Driving  Independence and M.S., March 2002.

Christy has been a certified driving rehabilitation specialist since 1999, serving the Association of Driver Rehabilitation Specialists as an officer of the Colorado Chapter. Spare time interests include walking, music and cooking. She enjoys time with family, gardening and traveling.
